In what could be the best example of Mayor Bloomberg’s detachment from reality, his profound insensitivity, lack of objectivity and unapologetic plutocratic elitism, the Mayor has indicted Candidate Bill DeBlasio for the crimes of ‘reverse’ racism and class warfare.

Apparently, excessive sniffing of his stacks of billions has rendered the Mayoral brain, moral compass and objective reasoning completely rotten.
The Mayor’s policing policies have led to the unwarranted detention and unlawful arrest of thousands of innocent and mostly poor African American and Latino individuals. When a rival or democratic candidate challenges the result of the Mayor’s elitist and completely racist policies, then the Mayor will simply accuse them of reverse racism. The degree of elitism and detachment is appalling. It is time for him to go! While Quinn, who made the back room deal with the Mayor four years ago to circumvent the will of the people on term limits, hedges her bets on the issue, at least DeBlasio has the courage to state the facts.
Class warfare? Yes, this must be class warfare. I wish I could say that the future bodes well for the shrinking middle class and the 46% of New Yorkers who are at or below the poverty line, but with billionaires like Mayor Bloomberg in places of power and calling the shots, we probably do not stand a chance unless he and others like him are left to count their money while not holding public office!
